Here is a sum up of Kate’s latest DIY décor
project- a fabulous mosaic tile table. You will love this project because this
is a simple and unique idea to pep things up without making elaborate changes
or spending too much.
Select the stock lumber of the required
size. Kate uses a combo of redwood and pine here.
Cut the board with a saw to get the
planks and the legs. Fasten them together with wood screws and construct a
basic wooden table.

And here is the twist…
Instead of embellishing the top with reclaimed
wood, snazzy mosaic tiles have been selected here.
Kate spray primed the legs with Bullseye
1-2-3 Primer .The tiles should be put into place with a thin set mortar and once
the mortar is dry, apply grout on the tile surface. Clean the excess grout with
a sponge and leave it to dry.
The blue and green tile top has merged
really well with the patterns around to energize the space.
